Research Center for Auditory and Vestibular Studies

The Research Center for Auditory and Vestibular Studies is a NIDCD-funded P30 (DC 004665) Research Core Center.  The Center provides centralized resources, facilities and technical support within the Department of Otolaryngology and supports NIDCD-funded research for investigators in the Washington University community. Currently, the Research Center comprises four research cores: a Microscopy and Digital Imaging CoreHistology Core, Sensory Functional Testing Core, and a Clinical and Translational Research Core. The major goal of this research center is to advance our understanding of development, aging and disease mechanisms, as well as normal and recovered function primarily related to hearing and balance. Core facilities and administration are physically located within McMillan Hospital at 517 So. Euclid Ave. and the CID Research Building at 4560 Clayton Ave (map).
